First Lightning Storm for 2009! for QLD :)

    Took this earlier tonight, major storm went over us and then kept going on its way to Brisbane.
    Taken with 100mm Macro F/8, 10 Sec, ISO 100

    but that thing on the upper right corner is a little bit distracting

    I guess it is a bit distracting when you look at it hehe. . . Thanks for looking and the comment :)

    That storm looks fierce enough! Wow. It DOES look fierce. The clouds are almost BLACK! And you captured lightning. Something I have NEVER succeeded in getting. Ever. Wow.
    But I agree in that the overhanging branch of the conifer in front of your home is distracting...

    I agree with everyone on the plants being a distraction but I love the contrast between the lights of the town and the even brighter light from the lightning. Good job capturing that strike!
