First long exposure water pic

Tried doing it without a tripod, what do you guys think?

Yes looks soft. Did you use the self-timer? If I try these shots without a tripod I use the 2s timer. So when I press the shutter I have a couple of seconds to steady myself.

Nope, at the time I didn't even think about using it.

I'll be getting a tripod ordered soon. Don't have any ND filters yet, though. I'll get there slowly! Lol
 
If I don't have my tripod with me, I prop the camera up on a steady rock or ledge depending on the environment.
