seriously: do not be fooled into buying basic economy tickets, they are the worst. You can't pick your seats, they split you up if youre booking with more than (1) person, and you can't bring on a carry-on. All the save like $10 a ticket.

Airlines are increasing the costs of regular tickets by adding a lesser option and pretending they are giving you a deal (even though the lesser option is the same base price).
