First Macro Shots C&C

Hello All!

Here are a few water drop photographs I took. Tell me what u think.

I'm kinda new at this but the second one is the best IMHO.
 
First: Level your camera - all shots are off horizon. That should be easy to fix.

Second: use a large shallow pan so you won't get that distracting edge in the background!!! If necessary put camera at a little higher angle (but try to avoid that).

Third: use gels of whatever color on your flash it increases the mood dramatically.

Sharpness looks good. Keep going.

ok..wat do you mean by gels?
 
The background takes away from your image... change your apeture and/or PoV.

Gels are colored strips that you can place in front of your light source.
 
I like the last 2. The first one was abit distracting from the background. I think you did really good with these. I personally am partial to the blue one.
