First NYC trip and first extended shoot

Just got my first 'real' camera, a Nikon 40dx and went to New York last week.

I shot about 575 photos!

I like your Times Square shot best, perhaps because of the colour. ^^ I know that you can't control lighting if it's a cloudy day, but if you could take pictures on a sunnier day, they would be much less drab and maybe look more lively. =]

Thanks all for the words... Someday, oh I have plenty of sunny/lively shots but for these I kinda liked the more heavy, moody feeling because of what I experienced in the people... except for all of us tourists, most of the natives seemed almost like zombies!

No smiles, no life in their faces, just meat-puppets punching a clock... thus the more drab style.

Great places for photos, I hope to go back someday!

Lol thumbslinger funny you say that about NY. I just drove back from Indy and It took a while to get used to people saying hello and thank you and all the eye contact lol. Sad but true.
