    I got my new camera in the mail today and I'm oh so excited. I managed to take a few pics in this scorching southern heat. Here they are!

    if there's one thing you need to know about digital SLR photography, it's "don't be afraid to push the button". it doesn't cost a thing, and you learn from it.

    wooooohoooooo! Congrats on the purchase! Careful now, you'll start eyeing every lens possible you'll want a telezoom, prime, macro lens, wide angle, justifying spending money on a new lens, working out your budget, working longer.....ahhhh it's all good :)

    Wow. Congratulations.
    "Scorching heat"? What is that? We have June and temps of around 52F ... 58F at the most. :roll:
    But they say it is getting better at last. Let's hope for the best. Some Texan heat injection could help!

    And hey, of these photos with your new toy I like Photo 4 best.

    Joat, I don't have a job so it's kinda hard to save money lol. Thanks for the tip though.

    LaFoto, I guess you could say "Scorching Heat" is just too hot to bear with.
