Sunglasses in portraits really usually kill them for me ('cause eyes are the main draw of a portrait, at least in helping a viewer connect with the subject), but I think the glasses work for this shot. The lighting is a bit white and unnatural looking though, you get what I mean? And it's rather flat because of some highlights on the arms, but it's an overall decent shot. Just keep working with some different lighting set ups, try and get some depth goin, you know? Good stuff though, just keep experimenting.
