Hi Michael,

Welcome, you'll find a great community here=) The food looks good but I am feeling like it's slightly overexposed, just an opinion but yay to your first post!

Welcome to TPF.

I'm not seeing overexposed -- they look good.

Joe

that makes me want the food so its a good result

What is your set up?

Welcome to the Forum!

Looks very good, makes me hungry! I like the white Background, and there is nothing overexposed at all.

seem strong on contrast, and not enough sharpness/micro details. as well as a touch overexposed and a touch blue.

I would call 3 of the 5 somewhat over exposed, but they aren't numbered.
I would also suggest being more mindful of the specular highlight seen on 3 of the 5 but not the same 3 as above.
Lighting products and food is a lot more intricate than lighting for something like portraiture in that more often subtracting light and flagging is called for when shooting products/food.

I like that the depth of field is not so shallow that most of what is on the plate is out of focus.

These are some of the best food photographs I have seen so far on TPF.

Agreed. I actually want to eat the meals. Other food photographers should take note.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback .

Parker219 - I remember using 3 light sources and a light table , dont remember the exact setup .
