welcome to TPF! hope you like it 'round here! and those are some truly one-of-a-kind shots you have! amazing!

Wow, what an amazing shot. That last one is my favorite! It looks like a toy, even though we know better! Now THAT is an amazing opportunity to get some shots that very few people can! I'm going to visit your zenfolio, ;) I hope you post more when you take them!

JenniferLynn's mentioning that she has been to your site made me go there, too, and I am so happy now that I did. I really would have missed out on so much if I hadn't. I now "met" you and all your family and it was NICE meeting you!!!

Slick, Jennifer and LaFoto --

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm glad you had a chance to see some of the photos on my Web Page. Love the Zenfolio layout. Extremely easy to set up with professional looking results. The service is out of this world good. If you need a new place to park your photos drop me a line ([email protected]) and I will give you all the details.

I'm glad you like the photos of the family.

This is one of my favorites

Doesn't mean they aren't still amazing!

The one of your daughter and grandfather, I'm guessing, is great!! For a slow shutter speed, she is not blurred at all! How did you manage that?? And how did you get the water so BLUE in the one of your son?

You have talent, I'm so jealous. :)

Jennifer,

For the first one I used Photoshop and a plug-in called NIK. Under the NIK filter system I used the "sky filter" to bring out the white in the crushed coral/sand. Then I used the "pastel" filter to bring the blues out in the water. It added a nice touch I think.

For the second one the shutter speed was 1/30 of a second. You should see how my blurry shots I have on my hard drive from this photo shoot. There were only a few that turned out crisp and of those I think this is the best.

As always thanks for the kind comments.
