    Love it...the dog looks really happy...like it almost smiling....youve got it in an action state aswell....All I would have suggested is try to get a pic like this early or late, when the sun is just rising or setting...will give it a like paradise affect...

    I think: very well done. If you begin at this stage, you no longer have very far to go! Very lively scene, well framed, good light, nice dog! "Rock" is his name?

    I agree that sun set or sun rise MAY add some cool colurs.

    Thanks for the input, especially on sunset. Composition was helped by cropping the original. I couldn't frame my dog, who prefers keep-away to fetch, that well when he is on the run.
