Hey guys just starting shooting. I would really appreciate any advice to pointers to improve my photography, thanks!

Heres a few picture's:

1. Looks like a shapshot to me. I'm guessing the turtle is supposed to be the focal point but I'm distracted by a big, flashed-out hand. The t shirt is also kind of distracting. Not really interesting. Make a shot that gives me a reason to care about the turtle. Make any sense?

2. Doesn't do anything for me.

3. Overexposed. You lost the color of the field and the blown out sky just looks like a bunch of empty, white space. The cut off bale in the lower left is distracting. You could crop it down or recompose to give more visual weight to the bale in the foreground. To my eye the two featured bales (fore and background) have equal visual weight and thus I'm not immediately drawn to either of them.

Hope that helps. Keep shooting.

I like the 2nd shot.
