first prints!

hey all, so here are my first couple prints from my semi-new darkroom. they're shot with a canon eos rebel k2 on kentmere 400 film, printed on kentmere rc vc paper and scanned in. i know there are serious dust/scratch issues, i live in a pretty old apt. with radiators that blow dust everywhere, currently searching for a safe haven to dry my negatives. so besides that any comment/critique is welcome.

I don't know why, but I was staring at the first one for quite awhile. First trying to find the person that the hands belong to, what they are doing, then trying to figure out why I was looking at it for awhile. I guess thats what makes a good photograph. Making someone think, and being able to get lost in the photograph. For that, I commend you.

Congrats on the semi-new darkroom! Now get that dust problem sorted out.

What grade did you print #2? Contrast seems pretty high but not necessarily a bad thing.
