Hi,

The coming months I would like to practice portrait photography a bit more, and see if I can improve.

Last Saturday I spent an afternoon shooting some portraits of a friend of mine.
Here are some first results...

Tips, comments and visions are very much appreciated! :)

Comments per req:

1. I really like this image. Good exposure, well executed mono conversion and the model's pose and expression suit the mood of the image. The only concern I have is that the brick wall seems to be leaning slightly to the left.

2. I'm almost never a fan of the 'up the nose' pose, however that's a personal thing. Technically, the image is good except for the area lower left. A small fill light was needed to keep a bit more detail in her trousers and the steps.

3. Nice, again her expression and mood suit the surroundings. See #2 for comments about fill lighting.

Just my $00.02 worth - your milage may vary

Hi!

Thanks for your comments! :D
Indeed I haven't used any fill lighting. All natural light...

Thanks!! Anyone else...?!
