Not really feeling the vibe of these photos. I would have tried to get square on to the wall and frame up just the building and graffiti in the shots - the blown out sky and muddy ground kills it in #1 and #3. No. 2 the lighting is just too uneven.

Something a bit more like this is what I mean

Maybe have a window off centre and just buildign and graffiti.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to be heading back there tomorrow to do some more shooting. I'll be taking my tripod this time, so hopefully the angles look better. I really like the link you posted fokker, I'll try to do something similar. As for lighting I'm grabbing an led light attachment for my camera, so maybe that'll even it out better. And I'll try a few shots with flash, adjusted iso, etc. See what works best I suppose. Guess we'll see if round 2 turns out better! :razz:

Scary place, best pictures would be near or after sundown but safety would definately be an issue. In the daytime they really didnt do much for me.

Concrete city is located in Nanticoke PA. I really want to get up to this place.
