First Shot With My New Camera

Just purchased a Sony A300 DSLR. I saved a bundle because it takes all of my old Minolta Maxxum glass.
This is the first shot I took with it.

Really like the Depth of Field on this one Great detail, great colors, all around well done

I'd like a little of the left cut off... it's not using the rule of thirds, and it's not using a center composition, so chopping off the left until it gets centered would do the trick.

Nice bokeh, and (although a dark background), nicely exposed yellow.
