First Shots with Med Format

Ok these were two of the shots off my first roll I ever shot medium format. I don't shoot much B&W, even though I love it, so I'm still in the learning phase. Let me know what you think of them. I know they aren't the best, but I was still learning to use the camer too.


Murphy Lake State Game Area

I know this one is blown out in the center, but decided to post it anyways.

The first shot is excellent, good focus and great composition, the second for me is spoilt by the blown out area of the sun, but I am sure there will be others who like it. Ernie

I'm not sure about the blown out part. I like it and I don't. I'm wondering how it'd look further from the centre.
I like the first. It's a shame that we have to view them on our monitors because I'm sure they look much better in real life.
