first still life shoot

[O'Rork]

I attended the annual still life shoot at the meeting of a local camera club, last night. It was my first visit and I was pleased to be so warmly accepted by all. I made quite a few exposures, all in manual mode, raw. I got some tutoring and got some nice results. This shot is untouched. I looked it over in CaptureNX and it looked ok to me so here it is.

I think it would have helped the shot if you couldn't see the velvet. I like the setup, but I wish the flash wasn't blaring on the fronts of the jars. I think this could be used to be darkened a bit.
