Well hello to all PPF members. This is my first post. Now I've been here for a few weeks but as most forums im part of i usually just read first. Im glad i found a website like this its been super informational and Im lovin it!!

Well Im a photo newb and i would like some C&C on my first upload.

Little bright in the back but other than that I like this a lot. Looks like you focused more on the coat than the person but either way cool setup.

Person walking away in the back for some reason makes me think NYC.

Its Downtown Chicago...im from NY and it reminds me of the city too

How would i make it darker?? Is this to broad of a question?

You should've focused on the eye. It would have looked better

The idea is good, but I think the execution could use some improvement. The main subject is her face yet the hood is in more focus than her face or eye. I think it's a Depth of Field problem. I think it would have been better to see her right eye as well. If you understand rule of thirds, then her right eye would have been right on the lines.

Agreeing wiht Khronos & ghpham face is too soft, need to foucs more on the eyes
