First time shooting flowers C&C Request

I took a trip this week to the NY Botanical Gardens, what an amazing place! I went crazy and took hundreds of photos here are a few. I'd love some feedback on what I can do better next time.

The last images is my favorite. It has good composition and depth of field. The first one is a beautiful flower, but being centered it's a little static, your second flower picture is has better composition. You can read my article about the rule of thirds here Stock Photos Arizona - Articles As for the cactus, I would have panned up a little to give a little more empty space at the top of the image.
