fisheye lense

    this is the right place to post concerning the fisheye lense, right?
    well, anyway, i need your help guys. i'm new to the forum.

    can someone tell me why this;

    says its for the sony cybershot dsc-w1
    but pictures a canon camera?
    does that mean itll fit my sony camera still?
    i really want to buy a lense, because i was going to buy the fisheye camera at lomography.com, but i kind of want one for my digital camera, ya know? so i can make sure the pictures are good before developing...
    please help me! thank you! i appreciate your responses. :]

    Chances are that that will actually fit your Sony. Sometimes they use one picture to cover many models. The safest bet is to send the seller a question and ask him if his item IS actually for a Sony.

    It will fit any lens with that size thread. The same seller will advertize the same photo in many listings. They use the name of certain brand cameras so there item will be found when people use the search function. When someone does a search for a brand or camera there item will show up.
