I have a Sunpak auto30DX with the KX-1D Konica hot shoe adapter. I *think* however that this is not an issue with a standard light stand hot shoe, but I am not using it on that so that should not be an issue. I have only been able to press the "test flash fire" button about 6 times the whole night tonight.
On the side of the hot shoe adapter, it has a switch that has settings for "5.6", "11", and "STD". What do these mean? The sliders/auto thyristor switch is on the back, so what is that for?
