flash or no flash

i am shooting tomorrow at a skate park at about 4p.m. I am using a nikon d-200 with a sb-600 flash attached.
should i shot with or without the flash?
or should i just try with it and with out it to see what is better?

Why limit yourself to one kind of shot before you leave? Take the flash and experiment. That's half the fun.

& depending on what direction you're shooting at the time, you may need it for jsut a bit of Phil Flash.

Get that flash off camera, you will get amazing results. Check out my action shots gallary for an idea od what it can do. My fave time to shoot is at sunset for skating and such

It's also a good time to experiment with FP flash mode.

For skating shot, off camera flash can give you some amazing results. If that's not a possibility for you on such short notice, bring it with you just in case...you may find out you'll need it and it's better to carry more stuff then to find out you didn't bring enough.
