Flash slideshows

People have convinced me I need a better looking slideshow on my website. I'm kinda torn between a carosel and a slideshow.

This is my current attempt.

My question is - do you like the slideshow - is the software worth paying $50 for or is there something better on the market for less?

Personal opinion...

1. I dislike slide shows entirely. If I want to look at your pics, I would like to control the speed and selection.

2. If you must have one, I would say the one you selected with all the transition effects looks less than professional. If you're not looking to look professional, then no worries...

What i use now is Photo MoiveTheater, not very experience. $35.95
and you can try other free ones like Windows Movie Maker, Video Director, etc.
