Flickr, Jalbum, Photobucket...?

Smugmug ... for two reasons. It works really well... hardly ever down ... good user interface. Secondly, it is family owned and has a great corporate attitude. Just to note one occasion, a photog on the Smugmug forum requested some help in creating a montage. Ho hum right ... as the story unfolds it turns out that the montage is for his youngest client ... an 11 y/o girl that recently died in a car accident. The administration of Smugmug personally contacted a few of the regulars and their own staff to help create the montage ... then Smugmug printed the montage along with additional photos of the little girl, all poster sized then overnighted the complete job across the county from California to Georgia so the package would arrive in time for the funeral ... all on their own nickel.

That type of responsibility and attitude deserves to be rewarded. What has Yahoo (Flickr) done for anyone besides exposing email addresses of Chinese dissidents to the Chinese government.

I like Flickr... The minimalist approach to site design makes it so appealing to me. But besides that, it is fast, great community, nice comments.
