How come sometimes when I go to edit a post immediately after posting it, I get a flood control message, and sometimes I don't? Are different forums set up differently?

BTW - Flood control for editing is really annoying. :p

Should be the same no matter what forum you're posting in....maybe you type faster sometimes than others :p

As far as flood control being annoying...trust me, it would be far more annoying to see 50 porn messages posted by a spammer in the period of a minute or so ;)

Hmm could be I guess, but I've edited twice recently (well a couple days ago when I got the flood control) and it just seems like both times it was immediately after posting. Post, read, spot error, click edit, correct, submit. Really quick. Who knows, it's not like I can time myself I suppose. :)

Oh, I agree about flood control, but it just seems like editing shouldn't count, it's not like it's a new message...

Thanks Chase! :)
