First try at catching lightning, there was a huge storm last night and this was taken once the rain stopped. Comments?

I find the dark spot in the lower left hand corner distracting. Also, there is a lot of barrel distortion. You should correct it in PS. Great timing, We don't get enough storms where I'm from to shoot lightening :(

Very awesome shot. I don't mind the barrel distortion; I think it adds effect. I wish the lightning took up more of the frame, but you can hardly control that when you don't know where it's going to strike ;-)

The amount of flooding in the street suggests it wasn't just raining ... it was POURING! Wow. The neighbouring town had the same sort of downpour last night (for about 10 minutes, and all the streets were flooded like this), while we (only about 5 miles down the road) only got a few sprinkles ... funny.

And that lightning ... well, cool. I have never ever in all my life managed to capture lightning.

Me - I don't mind the distortion ... and the dark spot on the let is your shadow, isn't it?
