Flower in backlightning, golden hour

    It does! I love backlit flowers, I love to see that sight with my own eyes and would love to be able to photograph it this well any time I see it, but a good many of my photographic attempts to capture a scene like this have turned into "bloopers", too...
    This one might have been even nicer without that bright upper left corner. I think the light up there takes away quite a bit from your intended subject.

    I kind of like the bright corner, only I wished there was more of it (not much, just a little). I think it provides a really nice contrast. Though, I think I would to see the entire image's exposure to be a tad brighter or darker. I just seems kind of "grey" to me.

    But I could definitely see this working without the sky just as well.
