Flower Photos

Heres a few to start off with..

I was told to "use a lower aperture", but im not quite sure if my camera CAN.. I use an Olympus FE-190 (digital camera).. Any tips, ideas, feedback (good or bad)..

The flower petals on the first three seem to be out of focus. Especially the first one. Square that away and they'll be looking good.

Yeah, I had a little troubles with that..

(The camera i use is for people - "for fun" pictures, so its hard to cope with that).. But i'll try to fix this..

Is the fact that I used Super Macro Mode on my camera have anything to do with the close up ones coming out un-focused do you think?
