Flower shot with a new lens

    I picked up a Cannon 50mm 1.8 the other day and LOVE it!

    Here's one of the first picture I took with it!

    Yes, I love the lens as well. I have one and use it all the time.

    Outstanding shot. Awesome colour! Nice and crisp. I'm looking for a simular lens, will keep that in mind! :D

    The centredness works PERFECTLY here, and the chosen DOF is also perfect and the colours are lovely, and exposure is spot-on and ... that lens is great, isn't it? I am so happy about mine, too!

    Nice shot. I would go ahead and crop it to a square. The info on the sides is useless.

    I want to get focus like that!!! Wow, beautiful! I just bought a f1.4 lens and have yet to try it out on flowers. Is that a dahlia?
