fluffy flower C&C please :D

Hey all got a new shot for everyones eyes let me know what you think ohh any no PP done to it straight from my camera to my pc thanks all in advance )

That's not a flower, that's a dandelion...a weed. lol

But, about the photo:

I'm not a fan because of the dull composition,

The aperture of f/2.8 is far too large (shallow) for this to be a sharp macro-ish photo. Look at the outside of the "flower" specifically the top, it's in focus, but the middle (part closest to the lens) isn't in focus.

If you can, run a smaller aperture (larger F number) and get a wee bit further from the "flower", see if that fixes the sharpness. Then, get a lower perspective and find something more colorful to use as a background.

Or better yet, pick a different plant :thumbup:

I don't mind the shallow DOF, it is a bit under exposed. I think if you bump up the contrast and brightness a bit you'd have a better looking photo. My 2 cents.
