Even if nobody else likes it, I do.
I like it. It evokes some very strong memories and emotions for me. Like when I was in kindergarten, we couldn't afford the 2 cents a day for milk at lunch for me, and the other kids would laugh at me. I would take my little peanut butter and jelly sandwich outside at lunch, and eat part of it while hiding in the wet grass next to the fence along the garden at the witch's house around the corner. I would eat two or three bites, then throw the rest of the dry sandwich away, and cry and cry and cry. I would run my tiny fingers along the bent wire of the garden fence until my they turned blue. I would pretend that I was a bad boy in a cage. Then I would go back to school and wait for my turn to play with the blocks; but it never came. Sheesh,... kids!
Hiya, marinmikey, welcome to ThePhotoForum.
This is ONE cool photo with which to come and introduce yourself. Cool.
I like it, too.
The bokeh is "fluid", indeed (or wet? ).
this one i had little to do with other than to gasp focuse and click the shutter.
Fantastic shot. I'm normally not a huge fan of sepia toning, but it works well here. Great composiiton and bokeh!
Oh my, such a troubled childhood. I shouldn't laugh.
Nice. It's different....that's why I like it.
It's ok, don't worry about it. It's funny to me too when I think back on it. I'm over it now- mostly. Well, occasionally I do tend to dwell on this and many other similar events in my little life. When I do find myself obsessing I think of this clever little poem I made up once while sitting 3-4 days in my dark closet;
Sometimes, when I'm sad and blue
I like to cut-off a finger or two
Sometimes, when I'm depressed and alone
I'll even cut-off...
One of my own
It cheers me up a bit. Now that my kids have had such tough go of it, I try to concentrate on their problems instead of mine. And their kids.
It's about the children you know, got to love them- IT'S THE LAW!
It's not a law.
This is so original! I love it. Great job marinmikey!
Abraxas, you worry me...you need to get out more dude...jk ;-)
Great idea! I'm on my way...
