    Nice captures of the spread wings. My faves are the first and last shots. And thanks for the info re the settings.

    Canon 40D on tripod - with pipe as in my picture. 200mm at f4.5 and 1/0000 to 1/2000 with iso from 800 to 1600, but usually 1000. Cheapish tripod set just inside window at back of my garage. Multiple shooting with servo on focus and remote release so I can stand back and get a wider view of the arrivals. Pre focussed on the perch. If you right click on an image - properties and copy location into the browserand you can follow it to Photobucket and click details below the image - you should get all the exif data

    Hope this is of use - I am still experimenting - so far stayed in RAW but may tru a longer burst as jpeg as i am told it will fire at 6 frames per second

    Excellent shots! Number 3 seems a bit out of focus though.
