    I was walking around today in my front yard and this fly caught my eye, so I did what I could with the opportunity.

    And yeah, niforpix, I agree with the sentiments on #2, definitely a bit blurry. I'll have to keep any potential prints of it small, not that I will ever print it anyways though, haha.

    That's true. If you're not printing it, the size you posted is just fine and the little blur is not a bid deal. I'm very picky when it comes to my photos especially macro shots. I love macro :D

    Post more! :)

    PS. What set up did you use for those shots?

    Macro is fun, and challenging. Way, way harder than I thought it would be when I got my first macro lens in May.

    And that lens was/is a Nikon 60mm f/2.8 AF-S. I use it on my D300. And sometimes I use off-camera SB-800s for macro work but not for these two shots. My Wasp and Bee thread that should be somewhere around here I did use an off-camera SB-800.
