    Not bad; the lighting was obviously tricky, but that's not something you can control at sporting events. Make sure though that you keep that in mind and look at the position of the player(s) in the shot and their position with respect to the light. Sometimes the difference between a shot like yours (deep shadow and bright highlights) and one with a much more even exposure might be only a few seconds. I like the fact that you have just a little motion blur in the feet; imparts a sense of movement.

    Yes, it was a very sunny day. Shadows all over the place!

    not bad.. you may want to try to use fill light and recovery on the RAW editor.
