    Well, happy birthday genius! We're celebrating tonight with a special gala, playing his 1st Symphony composed at 8 years of age and his last one, number 41 (Jupiter). Also two overtures and Sinfonia Concertante. During intermission cake and champagne will be served to the entire audience.

    Awww... this is so cool Mitica! I wish I could be there.

    I had a sappy moment in class today. My varsity girls are working on a Mozart piece so I started telling Mozart stories and generally just being a sap about it being his birthday. But it was a 7th and 8th grade girls class and they like that kind of stuff. It was a cool moment to be working on a Mozart piece on his birthday. We are just starting the piece so hopefully it made a connection for them.

    *sniff* I love my job.
