Not much of a flower taker. For those Canadians from Ontario they will recognize this as the Trillium our official Flower and against the law to pick apparently. This was sticking through some dead leaves early one moring in the woods.

Nice capture! Those are special little flowers, there seeds can take up to two years to germinate. They need at least 3 months cold followed by 3 warm and three more cold before the consider showing up above teh surface!

:hugs:: Oh! A thread dedicated to me! And this while I have so little time to come and look into my computer since my dad has arrived yesterday afternoon and will continue his bicycle trip round Germany from here (where he finished the first relay last time) tomorrow.

What a precious little flower! I assume it is kind of inconspicuous and tiny, which is why I appreciate even more that you "honour" it with this photo.
