Macro is a blast! I had no idea! I think it's my favorite so far. I don't have a macro lens yet, just macro/close up filters. Still trying to get the hang of focusing with these suckers. It seems there's only a small window of space for focusing shots.

So anyway, I took these after the massive, yet surprisingly short, rain storm we had yesterday. They're nothing special, but I mostly just enjoyed getting to see the intricate details (in nature and other things) that you really don't get to see everyday, and felt like sharing.

    Thoughts and comments always welcome.

    #2 for me as well.

I agree, macro gives us a new perspective on what we see but do not see.

I agree that 2 is the best. The others seem to be soft ( although thats probably just due to a really small DOF in macro shooting ).

    Thanks everyone!

Yes, its the small DOF that is making it hard for me to focus. I didn't know about that when I started shooting, it definitely makes it challenging.
