Some Rally Pics I took last Weekend.

this was only a local provcial rally , so none of the big guns in SA rally.

JP Damseaux- son of current SA rally champ.

Nice Hanno, you made a really good job of the panning there. were you using a monopod? I'm a big fan of rallying and British touring cars, essentially anything that can offer more thrills than formula one, which is pretty dull in my opinion, although with the new rules at least it's not all schumacher.

    Thanx Guys

    Some info:

Panned shots : Canon EOS1n with 28-105 lens on 105mm
Metered and Locked on ISO 200 F22 30th!!! of a second

Other Shots : Canon EOS 30 with 100-300 lens on 300mm
Metered and locked ISO 200 F5.6 1000th of a second

All shots were handheld. I find that a monopod hampers me more than it helps.

XMetal - the Evo won this event. JP had to retire due to broken tie Rod end . But JP Damsaeux normally whips his **s.

Sadly not a WRX. Just an Impreza Outback Sport but still damn zippy at a meager 165hp!
