Okay it's on the chopping block...go at it. I think the contrast is off because my monitor calibration is screwy.

I really like this shot. At first you think the main subject is the fountain, but to me it isn't. The wall on the left side is far more interesting. It's like you have a "fake" subject that tries to distract you from the real one. It's like the photo is alive I tell you! It's trying to fool me!!

Where's my meds?

Hehe, I seriously dig it though.

The living part is complete luck, i guess...there is a really great feeling at the actual site. It's always quiet, shady, and peaceful and it draws me there everytime I'm photoing in the area. I've taken about 6 or 7 rolls of film here, on different occasions. I've got some more pics on the way that have this same mood.

Content-wise, I like it. Nice geometry and light.

It seems a little soft...you might wanna go back and try it again...

These were my first thoughts, too. I like the composition, but I think some part should be in tighter focus. Might be interesting to focus on that back wall that was mentioned a few times, and have the fountain in the foreground a bit out of focus.

Lots of potential, I would love to see a few more shots from the same spot.

Is this fountain beside the Oxford Electric Department?

Nope, it's a new piece of the Buisness School on campus.
