the 70-200 F/2 DX VRII is a prograde lens and is around $2,300. Im pretty new to this so i would have to do some searching but check into Sigma. I would say buy the D90 and rent the Nikor 70-200 lens and a fast wide angle.

70-200 f/2.8
35mm f/1.8

those 3 for sure, your 50mm can replace the 35 but you'll find the field of view gets tight indoors.

add in 12-24 and 10.5 fisheye for fun.
