Hi, this is probably the wrong forum...

I'm ordering some stuff from Freestyle and wondering if I'm going to incur any duty, customs, etc charges in trying to have it shipped to Canada?

Any Canadians have some experience with this?

You're going to get charged tax for sure, if they notice. You MAY get charged duty. Photography equipment is supposed to be duty free, but they may charge you anyways...just ask them about it at the time.

Good luck.

Tax, most likely.

Duty, there shouldn't be any on 'Photography' gear but you never know.

Brokerage: This is the fee that the courier charges for taking it across the border and though customs. It varies depending on several factors...like the courier you are using, the cost of the goods and the method of shipping. UPS or FedEX ground, seem to have the highest brokerage charges.

I'll probably be ordering about $100-$150 worth of film.

Anyone have a clue what that might cost me in brokerage, if I do get dinged by it?

Too many factors to guess. If you ship via air, maybe none.
