The picture belongs to me, but I didn't take it. My buddy hung his arm out of his car and snapped it with a digicam. Blind luck, the picture came out and he almost dropped his camera at 40 mph. I like shots like these, has anyone else done this sort of thing?

I'm afraid so, yes. Not with the camera on the outstretched arm, but through the windscreen while being the driver. Yes  ---> you should not do after me!

Ah, Germany. My brother loved it there. Myself, I've never been able to travel out of the US, and I'm sad for that. :(
It scared me when I looked through my rearview and saw that he was holding the camera right off the ground, but it's HIS camera, and not mine.
Don't worry about taking a hand off the wheel to take pictures, many things are worth photographing, like home. :)
