No idea what I'm doing. Still don't understand how film speed, shutter speed and aperture all work together, but I'm having fun.

First, a few pics from a recent wedding reception. My wife says the blurry images are cool. However, I didn't intend it at all. Just me moving too much!

Last, a pic of our 3-year old. Pleasantly surprised with how well this one came out, especially since she was very eager to get behind the camera herself.

Is it me, or is there an obvious difference in tone between the first three (Kodak 400 c-41) and the last one (Ilford 400)? Interesting...

Thanks for looking.

hi, middlemarch

The first three are out of focus and you needed to use a slightly faster shutter if you could manage it, but the last one is excellent, still soft focus but that adds to that image (intentional or not!) the lighting is "all wrong" (which is of course a good thing) and that makes the shot really interesting to look at.

it doesnt matter if its intentional or not in my opinion, if its good art then its good art!!
