Also, could you desaturate the red levels without taking colors away from the sky? That might be nice in the 1st image.

I agree. Had I thought more I should have used some Lee grads over the lower part of the frame...

Me too. But I didn't edit the distortion out, mostly because of laziness. I'll go back and re edit. The more I look at these photos the less I like them. There's a lot of improvement needed here.

I will never understand the people on this site's aversion to distortion. To me, it helps to recreate that slight vertigo feeling that I get when I'm out there myself getting swallowed up in the abyss of the universe. Of course, I also like the matte-black look so clearly I'm an anomaly.
