Up for sale is my Nikon/Nikkor 35-105mm F/3.5-4.5 auto focus lens with Macro capability. It is a Nikon mount that will work with a majority of Nikon film an digital SLRs. It won't auto focus on Nikon SLR bodies that don't have the focusing motor in the body, however it will still auto meter for you. Works perfect and is ready for a new home. Great lens for starters that want something with a little more range than the stock kit lens.

**EDIT**Forgot to mention that this lens has spin type zooming and not push/pull. Also it is MADE IN JAPAN, if that matters to anyone.

    $90 Shipped within continental usa.

Lens is free from dust, scratches and mold. Perfect working condition, auto focus works as it should. Macro feature also works as it should.

Only downside is the minimum focus distance is about 3 feet from subject when not in Macro mode.

Readers - I had never seen one of these lenses before, never even heard much about it, but I just recently picked one up because the price was so right.

The older I get I seem to not like to change lenses nearly as much as I used to, so I had already been thinking about phasing out my primes, and I really like this lens so far. It covers a nice focal range (could replace my 35mm and 50mm primes + others), including what we used to consider "portrait" lenses in our film days (135mm).

Reviews say there is a little softness in this lens, but my lens doesn't really show that to as noticeable extent as the reviews say.

The push-pull zoom takes a little getting used to, but I really like the fact that it takes 52mm filters so I don't have to buy any new ones.

I am still playing with apertures, shutter speed, and ISO, and seem to be getting more than I ever expected in terms of DOF / bokeh in a zoom lens.

My photos taken with this lens are sharp and clear, nice colors, the AF is fast and sure on my D80, and I would not hesitate at all to recommend this lens to someone who might be considering it.

They didn't make very many of these (64,155 in 3 years), so it should also hold its value pretty well.

    I say go for it!

If I didn't already have one I would jump on yours.

Still might be worth getting your "twist to zoom", selling my push-pull zoom. Wonder if they are the same glass and IQ, yours might be a later serial #.

Yours DOES have Macro with that little locking button, correct? Does the Macro work all through the focal length, or just at the wide end?

Serial number of my lens is # 3038###

    Kinda thinking about that...

Yes mine does have the macro feature. Push a button and slide it past the 105mm mark into the "M".

The macro feature only works past the longest focal length.

The serial number for this lens is ##00885
