FS: Sigma 300 f2.8 APO (older version) Canon EOS

I've got an older model Sigma 300 f2.8 APO for Canon EOS mount. The lens is in great condition, very little wear, the optics are perfect. **Please note: this lens may not work with all current dSLR models from Canon - it does NOT work with my new 7D. This is not an optical issue, rather the older microprocessor does not communicate correctly with the newer cameras. Sigma advises there are no more parts available to have the lens re-chipped. The lens can be used wide open (f2.8) with the camera set to aperture-priority mode and autofocus, or used as normal with film SLR bodies. Great deal for film students or film shooters!!!!!

Includes the lens hood (there is a band of blue duct tape around this hood which has nothing to do with the function of the lens) and the original drop-in filter set.
