does anyone know what size the lens is on the Fuji S9600 as i'm trying to get hold of some UV/Poloriser filters for my camera and have no idea what size the lens is. i think it may be a 58 because looking at my old camera it had this on it
    ф46

and on my S9600 it has ф58.

I'm sure someone will be able to help

That's the symbol for a diameter of 58mm....so yes, I would assume that your lens has a front diameter of 58mm.

To attach filters, you need threads. Some digi-cams don't come with threads on the front of the lens. In that case, you need to get an adapter, if one is available.
