Test shot. I really like the micro contrast on this lens and the ability to get in close. It also has a useful manual clutch focus. I can see this as a good street and landscape lens. This is my first shot with it and can't wait to get out on the street with it.There was a firmware update for the lens as well. I like that about Fujifilm, they make it simple to update the firmware.

    67mm filter. 13 oz. 2.9" x 2.9". It's pretty small for a wide angle.

Actually wide angle lenses on mirrorless are typically very small. Thus the XF 16mm f1.4 is downright massive, lol. Its to be expected from a f1.4 lens, though. At f1.4 you have to make such a lens a retrofocus because straightforward implementations cannot offer that much maximum aperture.

It gets to be a tradeoff between size/weight and speed. It seems strange to me to choose a small, light camera only to put a big heavy lens on it but you guys are younger than I am. Nice image, JC.

Choose the camera and lens that does what you need it to do ... size, is at best ... a secondary concern.
