If I had it my way I would need a 512 card for every day of my vacation. I prefer RAW and can fit about 90 on a 512m card. I really need to get myself a laptop but the baby will delay that for a while.

Yup, I hear that. We desperately want to get away for a couple days, but there's most definitely a budget.

Speaking of which, how's your little tot doing? When's the big day again?

The tot is doing great! Less than 3 months away. 9/27 is the due date.

    How about your little alien?

Good price but I'm sticking with PNY. Their standard speed is Lexar's 10x!

Thanks for the heads up though!!!

I don't much about the speed in memory cards. How fast is fast? I mean, by today's standard, what is average and what is fast?

I think average is Lexar's 4x but I'm bad to shoot quick frames on kids in action so I like the faster cards.

Doin pretty good. Had the usual couple of scares, but things seem to be going smoothly nonetheless. We rented a doppler unit from online for $25 a month, so we can listen to the heartbeat anytime we want to. Go in for the extensive US in a couple weeks. Due just before christmas. :D
