Sam's Club has Lexar 256M 4X compact flash cards for $39.

That's pretty good. Thanks for the heads up!
I'm going to get a few...beats shelling out for a portable hard drive for the vacation!
If I had it my way I would need a 512 card for every day of my vacation. I prefer RAW and can fit about 90 on a 512m card. I really need to get myself a laptop but the baby will delay that for a while.
Yup, I hear that. We desperately want to get away for a couple days, but there's most definitely a budget.
Speaking of which, how's your little tot doing? When's the big day again?
The tot is doing great! Less than 3 months away. 9/27 is the due date.
How about your little alien?
dang, what about SD?
Good price but I'm sticking with PNY. Their standard speed is Lexar's 10x!
Thanks for the heads up though!!!
I don't much about the speed in memory cards. How fast is fast? I mean, by today's standard, what is average and what is fast?
I think average is Lexar's 4x but I'm bad to shoot quick frames on kids in action so I like the faster cards.
Doin pretty good. Had the usual couple of scares, but things seem to be going smoothly nonetheless. We rented a doppler unit from online for $25 a month, so we can listen to the heartbeat anytime we want to. Go in for the extensive US in a couple weeks. Due just before christmas.
