Galah and A Magpie

    Finally got a galah to come down to the seed dish today - at a time I was actually able to take a pic lol

    Whooo, hooo! You know I love these. The galahs have nice dof. Perhaps a little closer crop to the top of the head??? But that just may be my head today. Also, not enough space under his feet...just a little more, at least enough to see his tail, I think. I know this is pretty much the color of the galahs, but I played with it here and I liked it with a little bump in saturation...again, that just may be my head today. I also added an USM and these images rocked!

    The magpie could have used a little more light on his body and I would have liked to have seen his footies.

    I didn't try playing with the colour saturation on them apart from adding a tiny bit of contrast to help bring out the colour :)

    Wow, so unique! :) Beautiful shots..the coloring is great! So sharp.

    Thought I'd add another shot taken tonight to this - The galahs were up in a tree tonight eating the seedpods - there was 2 of them - but this ended up the only shot that worked as one or the other ended up behind a leaf or something when they were sitting together...
